We had an excellent time at Firebirds! Our server, Kyle, was amazing! He was able to attend to all our needs and assisted me with the presentation of the birthday cake to my mom! The food was pretty good as well. I wouldn’t order the crab cakes again due to only having two small crab cakes for $15. We LOVED the lobster queso! Although the food was good, what really helped was the service. I will definitely patronize this establishment again 😃

Our first time there and it was great. Douglas our server was excellent. He made sure everything was exceptional. His food / drink suggestions was 3 for three. I will definitely eat there again. Thanks Douglas😀

Sat in bar area because dining area had a two hour wait. The seafood pasta was a little bland tonight. Bar area where I sat was freezing. Like there was no heat.

Nah. Creep named Alex gave me my takeout order, and food was overdone. Good sides though 👌

Beautiful setting, relaxing and deemed lighted romantic or friendly environment. Great selections, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks! Reservation rooms for privacy. Great place to eat in👍

Nice atmosphere and amazing food!! The wings were to die for and the Suft and Turf was cooked to perfection! Not may restaurants cook steaks medium rare the way I like it but here I got exactly what I was looking for. Bravo 🙌🏼 Check this place out. It’s recommended that you make a reservation first!!!

Firebird Grill - very nice place. Went mid afternoon, had steak, excellent. Place was quiet. Lots of avail. seating. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Will visit again soon.

Great experience. Pleasant and attentive staff. Excellent food that came out in a timely manner and with great flavors. Def would recommend as a date spot or get together.

The restaurant is awesome and broad, the meals was enchanting and the prices were very reasonable. quick, efficient service and very affable staff members. I recommend this place.

One of me and my Wife’s favorite splurge places to eat. Can be on the pricey side, but the portions are large enough to split. Today our server Jeramey was phenomenal. Super timely when bringing things out with the kitchen, extremely friendly and understanding when our 9 month plus daughter decided to make a mess. Can’t wait to come back on our next Date night!

Great place. Loved the food. We had Steak and kobe meatloaf with mashed potatoes we're fabulous. Can't wait to bring the whole family!

Really great dining experience. The service was fantastic, the food came out quickly. Easily one of the best steaks over had in a long time. If you're in the mood for steaks, skip the chains and come here instead. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food even better.

We were there tonight for a bday happy hour with about 20 coworkers and our server Chris was amazing and was always asking if we needed anything. Lindsay was so great too. They were so friendly and accommodating to all of us. We had great service great food and really great atmosphere. Thank you for a great night

Ok first time here, so I got the meatloaf mashed potatoes and green beans it was ok potatoes were just warm and meatloaf was very plain, wife got steak and a potato she said it was good. Wait staff was good beautiful inside were we sat lol it was very cold but the cheesecake I got was on 🔥 it was 👌 up there and made up for my ok lunch. My Cheesesteak Egg rolls I did not care for I thought there were meat and cheese and the spicy sauce was on the side but it came on top which I don't like spicy I will go back and try other items

We rented the private room for our wedding reception. It could not have been more perfect! The staff was simply top of the line, management was incredible, and the food was simply amazing from start to finish. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place for a gathering, that this Firebirds is perfection!

Wonderful atmosphere, great servers, and most importantly the food is so delicious!! Many visit here and more to come. Highly recommended!

Reasonable priced. Four fav things: wings, baby back ribs, side of portabello mushrooms, and big daddy chocolate cake! Baby back ribs were fantastic. Best I've ever had. Loved the wooden smokey flavor to it. Side of portabello mushrooms were wonderful too. I felt like I tasted some cheesy sweetness to it? Big daddy chocolate cake was really soft and delicious. Tenderloin salad was good (meat itself was wonderful). Wicked burger (special until October) was good too. Side of vegetable medley was normal.

Tried the ribeye this time and it was great. Previously I've gone with the chili ribbed Delmonico, but I felt it was time for a change. Great food and great service, but do yourself a favor and make reservations.

Amazing dinner. Good food a d great service. We sat on the bar (actually at the table in the picture) and the only complaint I had is they are so busy the door kept being held open and freezing cold air swept on directly to our table. I highly recommend reservations. The cocktails were yummy and I recommend the hard-boiled eggs and the queso dip. Our steaks were prepared well and we enjoyed the meal.

Firebirds is BEAUTIFUL & the Service-FIRST RATE!!.. BUT.. the FOOD IS some-what BLAND & a-little OVER priced !& the “ Three-Berry-Sundae “ ..was FAIR at Best!!.. -the Pineapple Martini BEST thing on the Menu-ha!!

So this was our son 17th Birthday dinner his choice. First, this restaurant is okay it's a typical American Restaurant with a few menu items that you can't find elsewhere. 1st picture is my wife’s dinner Parmesan Mashed Potatoes with cilantro chicken. She wasn't happy at well, the description on the menu can be misleading.2nd was our son’s ribs we're great meat fall off the bones, sauce was great my different like it but it was great.3rd was mines Kobe Beef Meatloaf OMG with pecans green beans and SOUTHWEST AU GRATIN POTATOES OMG These potatoes are off the hook. We had a mishap in the begin with our server but we got the young lady Caitlin ( I think that's her name) she is wonderful and full of energy. So if you're dining with a family with kids I wouldn't recommend but with teenagers this is ok.

We went here with two other couples it was a date night for all of us and we had reservations. I appreciated that we didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes to be seated which is always a nice surprise. Unfortunately, having reservations doesn't mean much at certain establishments. I had a pasta dish with chicken and I added filet and it was great and I would definitely order it again. One person didn't like the salmon because it lacked flavor and my other friend's steak was overcooked. I will definitely return.

Wonderful food options. Steak of course is great and the even have amazing salads (seriously). I love the atmosphere. It’s one of my favorite date night places in Newark.

My husband and I have been dining at Firebirds since it first opened. The service is top notch and the food Is always great. Happy hour is very busy so arrive early.🥂Parking is an issue.

Good food. Good service. I ordered the lines in the sand cocktail (it was DELICIOUS), and a mixed greens salad. The waitress was very attentive even with the busy crowd on a Fri evening. Worth the hour wait. 🙂

Food was delicious. Service was excellent. There was a 45 min wait, but we were there right at dinnertime, so that's not surprising.food was out quickly and was hot and prepared as ordered. Can't ask for much else!

So Over priced ,2 hour wait to sit in the dining room . We sat in the bar area at a high top. Food was just ok.Our waitress was great.

The food is good enough--it's a chain, after all. I definitely recommend the spicy deviled eggs appetizer. You will crave it fortnightly! I liked it so much I tried to recreate it at home. I've been several times, mostly for lunch, and the service can be spotty, but is usually good. The staff are friendly, and there are plenty of gluten free options.

Great food. Great service. Great cocktails. What more to ask for? Coconut shrimp were lightly breaded and fried to golden perfection. Jalapeno Deviled Eggs were great but I'll ask for extra jalapenos next time. The belvedere dirty vodka martinis were up to par. Wifey got filet with broccoli. Steak was well done as requested. Broccoli was well done with a slight crispness. The lobster spinach queso was delectable, I could loose myself in a bowl of it. And everybody had problems putting down the forks when the chocolate cheesecake showed up. I went in here, not the hugest fan and left eager to return. Enjoy!

Had a party of 10, so getting a reservation was in order. We needed to be flexible on time but it still worked out. Service was excellent! Some of our group had not been there before and the staff was great at explaining some of the dishes. Excellent selection of beer for my drinking friends. Fairly decent selection for non-drinking friends. Food was fantastic and I highly recommend the Kobe Beef Meatloaf which comes with Spiced Pecan Green Beans, which were very tasty. The Deviled Eggs are extremely yummy.

Trying to support restaurants during these tough times. First experience was great. Second experience was just okay. Last experience was not good. Ordered steak dinner for 4. Received 3 filets and 3 overcooked bits and pieces I'm assuming was to count as the fourth. Dessert was 6 chocolate chip cookies. Firebirds, don't take advantage bc it's takeout. We're trying to support you but there are other options.

Fantastic salmon with a lime butter seasoning! Loaded baked potato was also well dressed. Took off a star because my colleague’s Delmonico steak was cooked well done when he asked for medium rare - which was remedied and personally delivered by the chef.

We had a table of 16 people and we wanted separate checks. The waiter advised he would handle at the end which was no problem. Well at the end the waiter did not split the checks and we were unhappy because we had to take extra time to figure out who had what. We called the manager over and he had the waiter fix it but the waiter had to come around the table again and asked everyone what they had to eat. First time we've had trouble.
